Shivani is a part of the Non-profit Advisory team at Sattva, where she engages with non-profit organisations and social enterprises in areas such as organisational strategy, program design, and fundraising capability building. Prior to Sattva, she worked at Dasra, a strategic philanthropic foundation, where she supported corporates, foundations and high net worth individuals in developing and executing on their philanthropy vision. Shivani has also worked at EdelGive Foundation, the CSR arm of Edelweiss, where she supported institutional capability building of non-profit organisations by leveraging the expertise of Edelweiss employee volunteers. Shivani holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Studies from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai.

Anushka is an Analyst in the Program Management and Advisory Team in the Foundations vertical at Sattva. Prior to Sattva she worked at a social enterprise- SETU: A Bridge to Artisans, where she worked for the development and management of artisan producer groups, was responsible for managing SETUs women centric Skill Development Centre and worked as the in-house graphic designer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Design from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore.

Ambika is a Senior Engagement Manager in the Non-profit Advisory vertical at Sattva, where she works with organisations to support their growth strategy with recommendations to help them scale. Her experience on projects spans from revisiting organisational strategy to creating program design for both large and small NGOs. Prior to Sattva, Ambika spent a significant time at Dasra building capacity of NGO leaders by curating workshops focused on strengthening leadership capability and measuring its translative impact on the performance of the organisation. She also worked with Social Alpha, an incubator for social enterprises, supporting their portfolio strategy and fundraising efforts. Ambika moved to the development sector after spending over 6 years in business research and advisory for global funds. She has a B.Tech in IT and an MBA in Finance. She also holds a Certificate in Social Impact Strategy from CSIS UPenn, USA.

Rajesh Varghese, Country Director, Ashoka Singapore/ Malaysia. Leader – Ashoka Fellowship.  Prior to that, Rajesh held the title of change manager, strategic resources, at the organization, and before that he was a consultant. He also was corporate relations director at Make a Difference in India.

Sumitra has over 20 years track record in initiating, managing and leading innovation work globally in the creative, media and social-impact sectors. She is in a leadership role with Ashoka Innovators for the Public in South East Asia; particularly in the work related to social entrepreneurship and empowerment of young people. Ashoka is a global organisation that has built the field of social entrepreneurship over the last 37 years, with a presence in over 75 countries and is ranked as the 5th NGO in the world. Ashoka now champions the power of young people, to create a better world in a fast-changing future.

Prior to this she co-founded an international award-winning social impact organisation in Singapore - Playeum, The Children’s Centre for Creativity in Singapore which is centred on play that unleashes the agency of young children to take charge. The systemic nature of the work includes empowering teachers, parents and community leaders to embrace child-led play and creativity. Playeum is recognised as an innovative leader in Singapore and Asia.

She is Malaysian, trained as a Chemical Engineer from Cambridge University and holds several awards namely the British Council Lien Foundation “Creativity for Social Change” Fellow, Chevening Scholar, Procter & Gamble innovation award recipient, Advisory role to the OECD 2030 Learning Framework Learning Group and Advisory Board member UWC in South East Asia (education) and Board Director of Playeum. Sumitra has raised several publications on the Future of Work, education and is a facilitator and speaker at high level engagements including World Economic Forum 2019 @Davos.

David McLean’s primary focus areas are IT strategy, digital transformation and business intelligence. He has a belief that alignment of technology with organisation strategy is critical to improving effectiveness and outcomes, and that collaboration is central to driving change. He has 25 years’ experience working within the education, non-profit and commercial sectors, including senior management experience in a leading NFP, working collaboratively to align people, process and technology to strengthen service delivery and improve effectiveness and impact.
