Speakers:
- Wonu Owoade: Wonu is a senior fundraising expert with over thirteen years of experience. Her interest in fundraising and the nonprofit sector started with volunteering in her youth. Since then, she has built considerable experience working with several international development and social impact organisations. Wonu has worked with numerous trusts, foundations, and bilateral and multilateral donors in Europe, the United States, Africa, and Asia. Throughout her career, Wonu has learned what makes donors tick and the fundamental principles of fundraising best practices.
- Sarah Grieves: Sarah Grieves is currently working as the Community Partnership Lead at Beam, a platform that supports homeless people and refugees into stable jobs and homes. Her past experience involves working with Simprints as Senior Partnerships Manager, overseeing R&D and innovation funding to support product development. She is a graduate from the University of Cambridge.
- Leah Taub: Leah Taub has over a decade of experience leading strategic partnerships, driving digital innovation, and spearheading business development across global public health, international development, and tech-for-good sectors. She empowers mission-driven organizations and founders to scale their growth and maximize their impact by leveraging technology and innovation to drive positive global change. Based in Washington, DC, Leah holds a Master of Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, with a focus on social and behavioral sciences.
- Christie Civetta: Christie Civetta has over a decade of experience working in organizational strategy and partnerships in global development, health, and technology. Her work has cut across numerous sectors, including a deep background in mental health working as a counselor, building digital tools for therapeutic interventions, and consulting on privacy and data security implications. She currently operates as a consultant, supporting socially-minded organizations like Dimagi to build upon their programmatic strategy, secure funding, and expand their impact.
