The Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE), part of Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, honored Bill Drayton with the 2002 CASE Leadership in Social Entrepreneurship Award.
Each year CASE recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of social entrepreneurship by demonstrating innovation and promoting effectiveness within the social sector. On April 24th, 2002, Bill Drayton delivered the Annual CASE Leadership in Social Entrepreneurship Lecture to an audience of students, faculty, administrators, and community leaders.
Past award recipients include Muhammad Yunus, Founder and Managing Director, Grameen Bank, William Strickland, CEO Manchester Bidwell Corporation and Wendy Kopp, Founder and CEO of Teach for America.
