About Krishna S
Krishna works to draw awareness to and destigmatize mental health issues.
Sensing a lack of avenues for people afflicted with mental health issues, Krishna started his initiative Maunitva Nirakarn. The organization aims to draw awareness to and destigmatize mental health issues. The organization, with 10 Core Team members, 7 Cause Ambassadors and 40 Volunteers, operates via conducting webinars, open mics, mental health awareness drives, and podcasts in collaboration with local schools. They also connect people seeking mental health to experts. The organization has reached 400+ people through its 60+ webinars across 20+ cities in the country and overseas. The team has also launched initiatives to address climate change and gender inequality, which are key stressors for many young people. Krishna hopes to redesign school curriculums to include mental health awareness in the future.
