Amelia is an ecosystem builder in the intersection of film, storytelling and impact. In her role at Ashoka, she is building the Everyone a Changemaker movement through storytelling initiatives allow writers, children-story-book illustrators, publishers, journalists, social-media creators, animators, and filmmakers elevated those who have created systemic changes in the society. Previously, she was the Program Director of In-Docs from 2012 - 2020, where she connected Southeast Asian documentary films with the international industry as well as the changemakers that can utilize the films to create impact. Throughout her tenure at In-Docs, Amelia has supported more than 100 films and connected them to more than 100 film festivals, funders, distribution partners as well as more than 300 changemakers. Many of the films have won international and national awards. Through her works, she has been selected to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.  
 
Amelia has a BSc in Telecommunications and MA in Communications from Ohio University.
