Growing up in a single-mother, low-income household, Daquan made a promise at age 14 to assist future children in a similar socioeconomic position to become successful. He went on to graduate from Babson College and later founded WeThrive, a national EdTech non-profit that equips underestimated youth with the tools to own their future. Daquan is also an Ashoka fellow, making him a member of the largest global network of leading social entrepreneurs.
