About Pablo
Pablo co-founded Clicaki to promote digital literacy in Brazil
Pablo pursued a technical computer course and had early access to a computer. During the pandemic, he noticed that many young people around him did not have internet access or had limited familiarity with the digital world. Upon analyzing the profile of these individuals, he realized that many of them were busy throughout the day, either working, studying, or juggling between the two. Inspired by his participation in the Young Ambassadors program, Pablo was motivated to propose a solution to a problem in his community. That's when he came up with the idea of creating Clicaki, which offers free workshops to reduce digital illiteracy.
The initial team consisted of Pablo and three other colleagues from different states in the country, and currently, the initiative has grown to include 16 young volunteers. The team is divided into different departments, and decision-making is done collaboratively, ensuring that everyone has agency in planning and developing the project activities. In their first workshop, they expected 20 participants but ended up having 100 people attending. Clicaki has already reached over 400 individuals through its workshops and is now looking to create new projects and offer scholarships to young people. Currently, Pablo is involved in political consulting, allowing him to be directly connected to the social issues in his area. He aims to use social media to reach more young people in his region and promote changemaking opportunities.
