About Bruna
Passionate about studying and reading, Bruna wants to democratize access to knowledge for students throughout Brazil
During the pandemic, Bruna spoke with various students and noticed several gaps in the education system, such as a lack of preparedness for remote learning and difficulties in engaging young people. She strongly believes in the power of education to change the world, as long as everyone has access to the necessary tools. Therefore, she realized she needed to take the initiative and started developing study materials, mind maps, and useful study links, which were made available for free on a Drive folder to support the studies of those who had fallen behind during the period of virtual classes. Seeing that the summaries fulfilled their role in enabling learning recovery, she decided to share them with other students, who also began to disseminate them. Students from her own school and from other states, such as São Paulo and Acre, started contributing by sharing their own summaries. And thus, Dolphin Educ was born.
Even with the return to in-person activities, the project continues to be active, seeking to reduce inequalities in academic performance among young people both inside and outside her school. Now, the team is developing an app for students to exchange summaries and academic knowledge. The initiative involves three members who work to keep the content updated, develop the platform, and ensure its compliance with legal regulations. Over 700 people have already accessed the Drive folder, and within her school, students have been able to keep their studies more organized and prepare for exams and the National High School Exam (Enem).
