UNLEASH
UNLEASH is a not-for-profit initiative aiming to address the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by bringing young talents from across the world together to innovate and collaborate on new solutions to global challenges. This year, the UNLEASH Hacks Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia (SIM) will bring together youth in the region to ideate innovative solutions to three areas of focus within Singapore’s newly launched Green Plan: Waste and Water; Energy; and Food Security. The Hack, taking place virtually on June 5th and June 12th, aims to give participants a more nuanced understanding of the relationships between the three countries that may be imperative to meeting the Green Plan as well a platform to learn more about solutions for the three tracks in other countries that can be contextualized to Singapore to meet sustainability targets. Participants from the Hack will also be provided post-event support to prototype and implement their solution as entrepreneurs. Applications for the Hack open on Monday, 10th May - for more information you can follow the Hacks SIM Facebook page (@unleashsim) or contact [email protected].

Our Better World
We unearth stories of people doing good in Asia and share them with a global community - because we believe stories have the power to inspire meaningful contribution. Through stories, we connect those doing good who could use mass support, storytellers who need their stories shared; and people who’d love to help but don’t know how to get involved. We motivate people to act. We want to build an engaged global community, contributing skills, resources, time and effort, to improve the lives of those who are helped and those who are helping. We evoke compassion and encourage hope. We aim to empower individuals with the conviction that each has the power to contribute to the greater good. Together, we can make a real difference in people’s lives. Our Better World is the digital storytelling initiative of the Singapore International Foundation.
