Polish Fellows Receive Presidential Honors

Eight Ashoka Fellows were recognized by the President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, on September 15, 2011 for their public achievements that have helped build-up the citizen sector in Poland. They are Alicja Derkowska, Katarzyna Batko-Tołuć, Paweł Jordan, Dominik Księski, Paweł Łukasiak, Ewa Smuk-Stratenwerth, Paweł Urbanowicz and deceased Fellow Piotr Janaszek, represented by his daughter Zuzanna Janaszek-Maciaszek.
