Our Vision
The initiative will reach young people from low-income and historically excluded communities and build on their unique perspectives and lived experiences to solve the problems they care about, equipping teachers and the adults in their lives with the mindset and tools to support them as powerful changemakers. At this time of tremendous change and opportunity, this effort will catalyse a movement to make changemaking the norm for all young people.
Watch Our Latest Short Films
We are excited to partner with youth-led and youth-driven organisation, Fully Focused Productions, to create a series of short films featuring stories of intergenerational collaborations and young changemakers in the UK.

About First Book
First Book is building a world where every child has access to a quality education. We work to remove barriers to education and level the playing field for kids in need. At the heart of our work are the more than 600,000 members of the First Book Network, the largest online community of individual educators, professionals and volunteers dedicated to supporting children in need across North America. This Network is the key to creating systemic change. Through our research arm, First Book Research & Insights, we conduct studies that aggregate their voices to identify barriers to equitable education and inform strategic solutions. To address their needs, we provide free and low-cost books, resources, and access to leading experts through the First Book Marketplace, which uses aggregated buying power to support this underserved community. Founded in Washington D.C. in 1992 as a nonprofit social enterprise, First Book is dedicated to eliminating barriers to learning and inspiring young minds. Each network partner recruits and develops promising leaders to teach in their nations’ under-resourced schools and communities and, with this foundation, to work with others, inside and outside of education, towards a world where all children have the education, support, and opportunity to shape a better future. Teach For All’s global organization works to increase the network’s impact by supporting the development of new organizations; fostering network connectivity and learning; providing coaching and consulting; and enabling access to global resources for the benefit of the network.
