Sometimes one doubts whether an injustice might be acceptable because it seems unavoidable. After all “doesn’t poverty coincide automatically with prosperity?” This was the conviction of entrepreneur Theo Vaes for 30 years. Then Theo traveled through 4 continents with ten questions from the “6 Billion Others” a project by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. He spoke to multimillionaires and people who were done with poverty and wanted to die. Inspired by Prof. Jan Rotman’s story of transition, change or revolution, the seeds of ArmenTeKort sprouted. With a socially innovative and scalable model, ArmenTeKort tackles both the existing generational poverty problem and shapes the structural changes for a new normal without endemic poverty.
