This session offers an overview of the different funding possibilities for social entrepreneurs. We will present the main impact investors in Belgium. However, we think that social entrepreneurs should not only pay attention to the variety of funding sources and investors. It is recommended to develop a solid business model, supportive ecosystem, impact measurement, and effective communication. At the end, solid and impactful activities will always be successful!

“A Financial Guide for Social Entrepreneurs” is written by Maxime Bouckaert, Nikolay A. Dentchev, Philippe Eiselein, Abel Diaz Gonzalez, Kris Vander Velpen.

This book provides what it promises to the reader, i.e. A financial guide for social entrepreneurs. It departs from the challenges that social entrepreneurs face to fund their ventures. Three main challenges in this context are discussed:
