Annual Africa Conference on Social Entrepreneurship
The Annual Africa Conference on Social Entrepreneurship (AACOSE) is an initiative set in place to foster the interaction between the key actors who contribute to creating favourable conditions for the growth of sustainable social enterprises in Africa, including leading social entrepreneurs, academicians, policymakers, international development players, multi-nationals, impact investors and other funders, business executives and other leaders drawn from across Africa and beyond. Through this, AACOSE has managed to catalyse conversations on the need for policy and/or legal frameworks to govern these social enterprises.
The conference is organised by Tangaza University College, an academic institution that provides competence base training to Social Entrepreneurs, training them and enabling them to impact and transform the life of people; in collaboration with Ashoka, an organisation which supports Social Entrepreneurs who are change makers globally.
